New Program Brings 61 Students from Mumbai to Broad | MSU Broad College of Business

On the cutting edge of innovative academic programming, Broad College of Business’ Supply Chain Management program entered a new chapter of going global. From June 27-July 15, 61 students from the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), one of Mumbai https://essaysonline.org, India’s top business schools, will immerse themselves in SCM curriculum as part of a new partnership with Broad and Kelly Services.

These SPJIMR students are in the process of obtaining their Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), equivalent to Broad’s Full-Time MBA. With an average of four years professional experience, they previously worked in consulting, operations, logistics and supply chain management for top Indian and global corporations, such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Nestlé India, and Tata Motors, to name a few. “In India, we place a huge emphasis on reputation, and know MSU’s program is at the very top. During their three weeks at Broad, they will undergo project-based learning based on live staffing data from Kelly, alongside curriculum from Broad faculty based on SCM, innovation, analytics, and sustainability. The curriculum was designed over three months by Broad SCM faculty Dave Closs, Sriram Narayanan, and Keith Bezant Niblett, and deepens the five-year partnership the SCM program maintains with SPJIMR. If this program is successful, we hope it becomes a regular annual occurrence, bringing together thought leaders from SPJIMR and Broad faculty, and a global company like Kelly Services for real-time business research,” said Keith Nibblit, Broad’s assistant director, International Relationships & Executive Development Programs. “This program advances our international reputation and enhances are brand recognition, and we’re thrilled to be piloting it this year.”

The current class of 61 students is the largest in SPJIMR history and Broad was selected for this cohort program by leadership and faculty from the institution.
